Look, I don't want to wax philosophic, but I will say that if you're alive you've got to flap your arms and legs, you've got to jump around a lot, for life is the very opposite of death, and therefore you must at very least think noisy and colorfully, or you're not alive.

Books , Books and only Books..........
Long time I feel that I haven't written a sensible blog. People complaining on this and I think its right!
A book can keep you occupied from anything. And a perfect example is me with books.
Why not make a review of it and publishes it to all and make an awareness of it!!!........:)
1. The All time famous chetan bhagat and his new book on the shelf “2 states”:
Referred by: Popularity
Time: I took whole weekend to finish...
My Review: Its very attaché in the first half of the story that’s until chethan stays in Chennai. But after that it’s a bit boring.... It’s near common sense to realize that whenever there is a sad story line and that is also getting stretched up.... it’s a bit boring, right! And even the marriage occasion, last whole chapter was all about it and a bit lot of elaboration at the end which I thought would be avoidable. Any ways I can't comment because in the end it’s about his marriage you see.
Believing it or not, m a bit shock on how he has handled it or to say precisely his life....Much of filmy styles and miracle turns........His papa saving the day and all....But I did liked the style, at least better than the others. Less of F*** or similar words used you see :).
2. A Kannada book “kshana hottu ani muttu Part 1".
Referred by: My sweet granny.
Why: I nearly try reading Kannada news paper sometimes, but frankly speaking I have actually built up a very less liking towards Kannada books. Novels are so tough to read also, since the words are too complicated sometimes to understand. Even i haven't read any books of my uncle or grandpa to be frank. But this is different. Its very easy to understand and not at all time consuming
About It: If you see in vijayakarnatak news paper, a local kanada newspaper publisher publishes article from Mr. S Shadakshari everyday in some column. These articles has become so very famous, that he added up all the articles and published a book. There have been 7 or so parts of it. I am reading the 1st one.
Time: I haven't completed yet because (see the reason in "My Review" session)
My Review: It’s very good. Why?
Reasons: 1. it has tiny tiny 1 page short stories each. Each of them are 1 article each from the newspaper.
2. These stories are real story and inspiration ones. And also very interesting. Not that boring inspiration stories.
3. Not required to finish it soon. Since each stories are separate stories and hence no such feeling of wanting to read more situations.
4. At least you will know how to read kanada. I mean for me.... its long time i have stopped reading any kanada books.
3. Twilight and series By Stephenie Meyer.
Referred by: Moved by the movie.
About It: Ah. :) .........It’s a 4 book.....filled with Complete romantic, frictional story. All 4 books are connected and serialized. Just like Harry Potter and series. A jackpot indeed to people who are really thrilled in readings.
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
Time: I took whole weekend to complete the first book. The second book is going on :). I need to purchase the 3rd and 4th and I think this weekend is the time. :)
My Review: Nothing but “The Best ". I actually can't compare it with Harry potter. But yes it’s frictional.
Perfect sentence to framework the story: A romance between a Human girl, Isabella Swam and Vampire guy, Edward Cullen :). That's it, M not revealing anything here.
The words are very good and she has used it uniquely in those particular places. Wow unbelievable. The story hoes on but it’s not so all the time. There are places where it gives a halt but I think I like it.
A surprise package for Non readers: There are 2 films being filmed which are based on these books. Twilight had released long back. But recently on Nov, Twilight: New Moon was released.
Get going; get a book at least one, this Year end.
Have a Splendid Christmas and Happy New Year 2010 in Advance :)........
Ciao...
Prathi
